Look, a giveaway!

I haven’t done one of these in a while, so I thought why not run one now?

This giveaway is for a print book (I know, right?) called We’re All Going To Die Tomorrow: A Guidebook for the End of the World & A Compendium of the Many Ways in which we are totally Doomed. Which is the best title ever.

Blurb:

A (mostly) satirical book on the current End Times craze. We examine everything from the 2012 Mayan Calendar end-date to the Rapture with snarky and occasionally inspirational commentary. Makes the perfect gift for paranoid End Times fanatics.

**Note: Some potty-language, not for kids.**

This book actually was pretty funny. If this is something that interests you, enter the giveaway!

The Just to Say Thank You giveaway winner

So after a rather abysmal showing (I CANNOT believe you guys didn’t want to win a free ebook OF YOUR CHOICE), random.org has chosen the winner of Monday’s giveaway!

Without further ado, the winner is…

THE BOOK WHEEL!!!!

Yay!!!

The Book Wheel, email me at apocalypsemama(@)gmail(.)com (but remove the brackets) so I can get you set up with your ebook.

Collen V., email me too. You’ll get a runner up prize of a book $5.99 or less (or something like that).

Why a runner up prize? Because I have to reward those of you who actually entered! I mean, free books! Reading is good! (See, people who didn’t enter? You might’ve gotten a free Kindle book anyway.)

Yes, I’m totally rubbing that in. I”ll stop now.

Just to say thank you…

So. I hit 100 Twitter followers last week! I’m pretty excited. (For those of you with more than 100 followers, this probably isn’t a big deal, but just go with me here.) I’d set my goal to reach 100 before the end of the year, and I hit it! Yay! (Now, hopefully I don’t lose any followers…)

Anyway. To say thank you for following me and letting my word vomit clog your tweet stream, I’m going to give away a Kindle book. I don’t know what yet. (I know the ICoS giveaway wasn’t as popular as I would’ve liked, but I’m willing to try again. Because I love you guys and all that jazz.)

This is the New Plan contest on ICoS

Over on ICoS we’re running a contest for a copy of This is the New Plan by John Xero. I reviewed This is the New Plan (link here), and the author was generous enough to provide a copy of the book to one lucky winner.

To win a copy of the book, head over to the contest post (link here) and post your entry! The contest is open until 11:59 PM Wednesday, August 29 (Eastern time). Voting will occur on Thursday, so make sure you get your entry in soon!

If you want to read my entry, click here. I’m not actually entering the contest, but I wanted to write a story featuring those ten words anyway. (And besides, Jamie’s story was looking a little lonely.)

You don’t want lonely stories, do you? I thought not. So head on over there and post your entry before the contest ends!
